Frequently Asked Questions
General
What is this app for?
This app is a tool for playing poker online for fun. Betting money or anything of redeemable value (gambling) is not permitted in any form. Chips in the app are virtual and have no real-world monetary value.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. Casual Matches can also be played anonymously.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes. It runs in the major browsers on phones and computers, and the layout adjusts to the screen size.
Accounts and joining
Do I have to sign in, or can I play as a guest?
You can play as a guest straight away. Signing in with Google saves your chips and unlocks the daily bonus and other features.
What is the difference between the game types?
- Ranked Match: for signed-in Google users. Your chips are saved on the server.
- Casual Match: open to guests. The starting stack is set when the table is created, and the chips exist only at that table (nothing is saved on the server).
Is there a daily bonus?
- On sign-up: 100,000 chips
- Each day: 1,000 chips (once per calendar day, JST)
How do I play with friends?
Share the table code you get when you create the table. Your friends enter it under "Join Table".
Table settings and play
Can I change the number of players and the blinds?
Yes. You can set the number of seats, the SB/BB, blind increases and more. Bets are always in steps of 100. In a Casual Match you can also set the starting stack.
Can I add CPU players?
Yes. CPU opponents come in three strengths, Lv1 to Lv3 (Lv1 only at tables with 7 or more seats).
With CPUs at the table you can play on your own.
If you have requests about how the CPUs play, please write to us through the Contact Form.
Are side pots supported?
Yes. When someone is all-in for less, the excess is split into a side pot, and each pot is awarded to its own winner.
How long is the action timer?
20 seconds. Each player must act within 20 seconds. CPUs also play within 20 seconds, always. When the timer runs out you are checked or folded automatically, depending on the situation.
Can players join or leave mid-game?
Players cannot join once the game has started. To add or change players, you need to create a new table. You can leave at any time; if you leave during a hand, that hand counts as a fold.
Chips and records
Where are my chips stored?
For signed-in Google users, chips and profile are stored on the server, along with a running record of gains and losses. Guest balances are not stored on the server (Casual Match chips exist only at the table).
Can I see a history of my bets and results?
Signed-in Google users can see it on the profile page.
Troubleshooting
What should I do if the game gets stuck or something breaks?
Please start by describing what happened in the Contact Form: roughly when and on which screen it happened, and whether you were signed in with Google or playing as a guest. If the table is still stuck right now, the table code helps too. If a hand has not moved for over 3 minutes, anyone at the table can press "End the game" (that hand is cancelled). Once the table is closed, set it up again. Clearing your browser cache, or signing out and back in, can also help.
I reconnected but cannot get back in.
Try reloading the browser or switching networks. If that does not help, send us the details through the form above.
Security and rules
Is this app safe?
There are security measures in place to keep the game fair. Only virtual chips are used, and no financial information is handled at all.
Is anything prohibited?
Automating play with bots, and disruptive behaviour, are prohibited. Legitimate crawlers such as search engines are not covered by this. Where we find inappropriate behaviour we may restrict the account or block access. See the Terms of Service for details.
